since this winter has gotten off to such a magical start, Myself, Dylan Terry and, Jimmie Buyck all decided to head down to Big Boulder and try and hit an actual park set up. The weather report said rain, after no discussion at all we packed extra clothes and got ready for the wet stuff. Amazingly when we got down there there was no rain, some fog, but the conditions were pretty sweet, it was a firm slush that was slick. The fog made it scary for charging at features, but we endured. The Fashion x Salmon Seamen Double Feature
This year since we all couldn't be together in one place two films were made, "Hot Garbage: A Film About Having Fun" and "Give 'er Take" Feel free to check them out.
The Salmon Seamen on Mt. Hood
This year two Salmonites were lucky enough to grace the slopes of Mt. Hood and attend High Cascade Snowboard camp. It was a magical experience, made much more magical with grass clippings from Spencer Davis's lawn all over my boots and my bindings, and a few blades stayed until the last day. I was also lucky enough to have my camera on me during the spin cycle competition. Here are some photos and an edit courtesy of Jimmie Buyck.
